About
Strong, clear and compelling visuals can make us pause, or leave us in awe. They can help us to quickly identify important information, understand complex processes and emotionally connect to the story.
Bad visuals can quickly make us scroll, delete, or click-away. Poor visual design can make it harder for our audiences to understand what we are trying to say, and in some cases, even engage with the content.
Clear visuals that support what you are trying to say starts with good design. As a science communicator I love diving into the latest research on how visual design makes stories and content 'stick' and compels us to action. I can help you determine what visual supports will speak to your audience and support what you have to say. This could include the creation and use of a map, infographic, graphic, chart, photo or video in your story.
I work with a variety of programs and mediums to produce compelling visuals that help you communicate what is most important. I pair my artistic creativity with experience and evidence-based techniques to ensure your next publication, presentation, report and stories have visuals strong enough that they can speak for themselves.
